A member of the Middlesex faculty from 1949-1985, he coached hockey at Middlesex for over 30 years. Won 233 games as a hockey coach for Middlesex, including four championships. Also assisted the varsity football team for 8 years. The Arnold-Cutler Award presented to the top Middlesex hockey player each year is named in his honor.
