Won three letters each in football, basketball, and baseball during his years at Middlesex. Served as captain of the basketball team in 1957, when he was named All-League and led the team to an undefeated season and league championship. Also helped basketball team to league titles in 1955 and 1956. Led the league in points per game in basketball in 1956 and 1957. Set scoring records for both single game and season. Helped the baseball team win league championships in 1956 and 1957. Threw a no-hitter against St. Mark’s in 1957. Won Raymond Award as baseball team’s most productive offensive player in 1957. Three-year starter in basketball at Williams College, where he served as captain in 1961.
