OFFICIAL ATHLETICS WEBSITE OF MIDDLESEX SCHOOL

Tradition has always been a major part of our football program at Middlesex. In our more than 100 year history, much has changed but many of our best traditions have remained. From the silver footballs displayed in our Hall of Fame Room after every victory over our traditional rival, to the gold key-chain footballs awarded to the members of an undefeated team.

Our alumni have remained a very active part of our program, supporting the team in many different ways including their presence during the season and throughout the year. It is always a pleasure to have graduates return and speak with the team.

The success of our team is due entirely to the type of young men who participate in our program. There have been years when there was an abundance of talent and there have been a few years when there was not; however, this never changed the attitude on the team. The same dedication, intensity and effort were always present.

In recent years, the team has allowed only a few seasons to pass without a winning record. In that same time frame Middlesex has won an ISL Championship twice, recorded an undefeated ISL season and been chosen for four New England Post-season Bowl games, winning three.

Many of our players have gone on to play football in college, most at NESCAC, Patriot League or Ivy League schools; however, we have also had players go on to the Big East and the SEC. Every year another team adds to our football tradition, but what we are most proud of are the young men that play the game.
