OFFICIAL ATHLETICS WEBSITE OF MIDDLESEX SCHOOL

The Middlesex golf program has enjoyed a long tradition of excellence, competitiveness, and good fun. We hope that more and more talented and committed golfers give our school a close look.  One of our greatest advantages is our accessibility to the Concord Country Club, a Donald Ross designed gem of a course that has hosted a number of state and USGA tournaments. It is our “home” course, and we play and practice there every weekday afternoon.

Each year, our co-ed team consists of Varsity and JV squads that practice together and compete against each of the ISL golf programs one to two times a season. These matches take us to some of the best courses in the greater Boston area and beyond including the Renaissance Golf Club, the Nashawtuc Country Club, the Belmont Country Club, the Newport National Golf Club, and the Dedham Country & Polo Club to name a few. The team competes in 9-hole match play competitions against one to two teams, once or twice a week in season with few, if any, weekend matches. There is an 18-hole medal play tournament at the end of each season, the Kingman ISL Championship (named after Brad Kingman, former Middlesex Golf Coach).

In the recent past, Middlesex golfers have matriculated and played at colleges including Columbia, Northwestern, Amherst, Middlebury, and Hamilton.

There is more to share about Middlesex and our golf team, so I encourage you to be in touch with questions or to just touch base. My email address is cvigne@mxschool.edu.

I hope you are hitting every fairway this fall and as you begin to think about the next phase of your education, please consider Middlesex and our golf program! I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,
