Concord, Mass. - Kingswood-Oxford used a balanced offensive attack and created three turnovers on defense to post a 34-10 victory over Middlesex on Saturday, September 27. The loss dropped Middlesex to 0-2 on the season.
Kingswood received the opening kickoff and used a six-play drive to take a 7-0 lead on a 36-yard touchdown pass.
Middlesex answered with a 14-play drive of its own, scoring on a 17-yard pass from
Luke Felago to
Frankie Forrest to tie the game at 7-7.
Middlesex made a fourth down stop near midfield on the next Kingswood possession but the ensuing Middlesex drive stalled after five plays and the Zebras were forced to punt.
Kingswood connected on another touchdown pass, this one from 33 yards out, and they took a 14-7 lead with 5:21 left in the half.
Middlesex drove to the Kingswood 33 with hopes of tying the score before halftime, but Felago was hit as he threw on third down and his pass was intercepted.
The visitors' third TD pass of the half came with nine seconds left and made the score 21-7 at halftime.

Sam Elfner hit a 31-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 21-10.
Kingswood drove the field again on their next possession to make the score 27-10 and then iced the game with an interception return for a touchdown that made the final margin
34-10.
