Tabor traveled to MX in what turned out to be a pretty gorgeous and sunny day on the courts. Excellent doubles points, switching up some partnerships, trying to mix hard hitting ground strokers with partners who will poach and stay aggressive looking for opportunities at the net. With this, we had some epic points across the board, pulling into the lead to start our singles. The maturity of the team this year has been impressive, they are learning when to go for it and when to play the ball with patience and accuracy. Having won the match already, an epic singles battle with Stella Mourtzinos lasted the longest. While she had trouble finding her groove in the first set, by the second she was confident and dictating points. Nothing more that a coach likes to see than a mental comeback. The tiebreaker came down to a couple of points, but awesome play all-around, plus great sportsmanship!
