Middlesex Girls' Varsity Hockey traveled to Milton Saturday afternoon for another ISL matchup. The Zebras were slow to start as a defensive breakdown gave the Mustangs a 1-0 lead. First Year Ellie Sheehan scored her first career goal from the blue line to tie the game at one before Milton scored the go ahead with 18 seconds to play in the first period. Middlesex regrouped during the first intermission and came back stronger in the second. Sophomore goaltender Niamh Tobin was stellar in net. Despite several quality chances by both teams, including a 6 on 5 for two and a half minutes at the end of the third, the Zebras were unable to capitalize as time expired. Middlesex returns to the ice on Wednesdey at home against Lawrence Academy at 3:15p.
