CONCORD, Mass. - A 28 point second quarter by Lawrence Academy propelled the visiting Spartans to a 41-7 victory over Middlesex under the lights on October 18. 

The loss dropped Middlesex to 2-3 on the season.

After stopping Lawrence on their first drive, Middlesex fumbled the ensuing punt and Lawrence went on a ten-play drive that culminated in a nine yard touchdown pass on third and goal.

After a three and out, Lawrence went 80 yards in six plays to take a 14-0 lead. The Middlesex offense couldn't get going and Lawrence converted two long touchdown passes to grab a commanding 28-0 lead and then added another score just before the half to make it 35-0.

Middlesex took the second half kick and drove to the Lawrence one yard line where Frankie Forrest (Norwood, Mass.) converted a fourth and one for a touchdown. 

Lawrence then scored with under two minutes left to make the final margin 41-7.

Middlesex will host Roxbury Latin during Family Weekend on October 25. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM.
