Glasses in hand, MXGVT departed for Govs mid solar eclipse during the first warm and sunny day we have had this year. The girls were dialed in and ready to play. Out of the gates, MX took a solid 3-0 lead in doubles, with some great net play, formations and solid shot making. On to singles, with the sun still shining, MX Zebras were ready to slay, as we took a fast and aggressive lead on almost every court, not letting anyone creep in. Sometimes playing smart over aggressive over hitting, because that was what was needed to win. It's important to adjust and be flexible in game styles, even if it isn't one's most favorite style.  Sometimes it is challenging when the levels are different to maintain focus, but for the most part, MXGVT stayed locked in, even as the sun was setting in the fields.
