The Girls' Varsity Hockey team opened up their season with a large win over Pingree. Tessa Rusconi '28 scored her first career goal in her first shift of the game off of a beautiful backhand assist from Zoë Macron '27. Middlesex managed to find the back of the net five times in the first period with goals coming from Lucy McGaraghan '27, Luisa Ferrari '26, and two from Janie Martin '26. The second period brought two more goals for the Zebras with Ali Marsters '26 scoring on the power play and Merritt Fitch '27 converting on a prime pass from Cassidy Bruno '26. The team was pumped for goaltenders Niamh Tobin '27 and Taylor Tursi '28 to make their Middlesex debuts in net and earn a shutout.
