The Zebras were back on the road on a picture-perfect Saturday afternoon to North Andover to play the Brooks Bishops. After a rocky first two minutes of the game, the Zebras took control and were able to maintain this momentum for much of the game. Great play on the sides by Avery Swenson, Tessa Rusoni and Ali Marsters created many scoring opportunities and defensively, freshman Sarah Smith, had an outstanding day shutting down any of Brooks' chances. Middlesex finally got on the board in the 3rd quarter after a freshman-to-freshman connection from Marin Gustafson to Tessa Rusconi. The Zebras quickly scored another on an offensive corner. The game ended 2-0. The team will be back at home against Governors, another strong ISL team, on Wednesday.Â
