The Zebras were excited to be back at home after being away for two games. The team set the tone early by focusing on their passing game and communication. The team adjusted nicely to Lawrence's aerials and were able to cause many turnovers when Lawrence had a free hit. Juniors Ali Marsters and Alex Hood controlled the right side but it took the Zebras a while to find the back of the net due to Lawerence's strong goalie and defensive unit. In the third quarter, Tessa Rusoni broke the scoring spell by putting a gritty goal in the back of the net and shortly after the Zebras scored again. The game remained at 2-0 for the final quarter with the zebras putting great pressure on the Lawrence back line. The Zebras are excited to play Brooks on Saturday which is a historically big battle among two strong ISL teams.Â
