Middlesex was excited to travel to Andover to face a talented Andover squad for their annual "Pink Game" as they raise awareness for those battling breast cancer. Both teams were undefeated going into the game and the Zebras knew it would be a battle from the start. Even from the beginning of the game, the Zebras played with confidence and determination and the back line comprised of KC Fiore, Anna Bonazzoli and Sarah Smith stifled Andover's fast and strong forwards. After three back-and-forth scoreless quarters, Andover was able to score on a shot from the top of the circle with 10 minutes left in the game. Yet the Zebras did not back down and created a few chances of their own. The game ended 2-0 in Andover's favor but the team was proud of their effort and ability to play as a team, rather than individuals, for the entire game.
