On another beautiful fall afternoon, Middlesex took to the road again and traveled to Milton Academy. It took most of the 1st quarter for Middlesex to settle into the game and use each other as passing options. However, once the Zebras adjusted they were able to create some solid scoring opportunities and had corner chances. However, the game remained tied at half. Yet, Milton came out firing and scored one minute into the 3rd quarter off of a defensive breakdown and miscommunication. And yet the Zebras did not lose their fight and scored 30 seconds later off of a Marin Gustafson shot and Alex Hood tip. This gave the Zebras back the momentum and Alex Hood again found the back of the net 3 minutes later. The score remained 2-1 for the rest of the game. A big shout out to Milton's goalie and defensive line who made many stops on the goal line. After a tough week of travel, the Zebras are excited to be back at home against an athletic Lawrence Academy squad.
