Girls' Varsity Hockey opened the 2023-2024 season at home Friday afternoon versus non-league Kents Hill School. The Zebras took the lead with 4:40 remaining in the first when Ali Marsters '26 found the back of the net after a beautiful pass from Lily McTeague '26. First Year Merritt Fitch '27 scored her first career goal early in the second period and completed her hatrick with a powerplay goal and a snipe to the top corner. Kents Hill capitalized on a MX defensive breakdown late in the second but the Zebras responded with another goal from Marsters with less than a minute to play for a 5-1 lead after two. Kents Hill scored once more in the third for a 5-2 final. Captain Finley Crosby '25 had two assists and goaltenders Vivienne Cook '25 and Kat Garabedian '24 combined for the victory. Middlesex returns to the ice on Wednesday, December 6 vs. Proctor at 3:30p at home.
