The atmosphere was charged and excited on a chilly yet sunny Wednesday on Landry Turf as Middlesex and BB&N were battling for the ISL title. The Zebras controlled the play from the first whistle and the passing on the left side by Finley Crosby, Esme Coes and Katie Athanasoulas was sharp and hard to stop. The back line came up with many clutch plays and were quick to double BB&N's fast and skilled forward. Siena Bernardinelli hammered one home on an Esme Coes' shot and quickly Molly Nye put another one in on a powerful shot from the top of the circle. Overall, it was the most complete game the Zebra's have played in a while and every player did their job to the best of their ability. Due to the win, Middlesex clinched the ISL title for the first time in over 20 years yet they are focused on ending with another win against a speedy and strong St. George's team on Saturday!Â
