Middlesex battled Dexter Southfield on sunny Friday. The team started out slightly on their heals and it took most of the first quarter for them to find their next gear. However, the team remained poised and patient and slowly chipped away, creating many scoring opportunities off of corners. Siena Bernardinelli found the back of the cage in the 3rd quarter and Molly Nye quickly put another one away. However, Dexter Southfield did not back down and scored on a beautiful corner with 5 minutes remaining. A huge shout out to the Dexter Soutfield goalie who turned away over 20 shots. The Zebras are excited to return home on Wednesday on a talented BB&N team.
