Middlesex was excited to host Thayer on Saturday during Family Weekend. Determined to bounce back after their loss at Rivers, Middlesex had a focused and intense warm-up which allowed them to set the pace from the beginning of the game. Sophie Watson and Esme Coes dictated the game through the midfield creating many beautiful passing combinations. A pair of goals by sophomores Ali Marsters and Alex Hood set the tone for the Zebras, and after this, the team maintained the momentum throughout the game. It was a great opportunity for the entire time to play in front of their families and show their growth as individual players and the entire team. The Zebras are excited for a slate of non-ISL games next week that are both away.Â
