The Middlesex Zebras traveled down Route 2 on a chilly November day to battle against the Cushing Penguins. Similar to Thayer, the Zebras came out hungry and excited. Molly Nye's speed and skill through the midfield put the Penguins on their heels and the Zebras scored quickly on two offensive corners. However, Cushing found a way to battle back, earning a stroke which brought the game to 2-1. Luckily the Zebras regrouped at the end of the first quarter and limited the Penguins to 3 shots for the rest of the game. Five different scorers and five different assisters shows the depth of this team. A big shout out to Anna Rusconi '26 who was stellar in net with strong clears and a loud voice. On to Dexter-Southfield on Friday!
