Middlesex traveled down the road to Rivers School on Wednesday to play an intense ISL battle. Even with a short drive, Middlesex began the game on their back foot and had trouble gaining the momentum. Rivers scored in the first five minutes of the game and while the Zebras were frustrated with how they came out, they remained optimistic and patient for the rest of the half. Molly Nye led the attack causing some solid scoring opportunities in the second half, but the Zebras could not find the back of the cage. The final minutes was the hardest that Middlesex battled all game but it was too little too late. Congrats to Rivers for their fight and hustle today. The Zebras are excited to be back at home against a feisty and athletic Thayer squad on Saturday.
