On another beautiful early fall day, the Middlesex Zebras battled ISL-foe Tabor Academy. Tabor did not miss a beat and immediately put pressure on the Zebras in all areas of the field. They were able to capitalize on a defensive breakdown and scored in the first quarter. However, this did not deter the Zebras who were determined to make a comeback and scored two in the 2nd quarter. Half time was a nice opportunity for the zebras to regroup and re-energize. They controlled the second half with many fast break opportunities and senior, Katie Athanasoulas, was a brick wall in the back, stopping several fast breaks from Tabor. The game ended 3-1 in favor of Middlesex and the team is excited to host Milton Academy on Saturday for another fast paced ISL battle.
