On another perfect fall afternoon, the Varsity Field Hockey traveled to Tabor Academy for the Zebra's second league game of the season. The first quarter saw back and forth play between the two teams, each with scoring chances and big defensive plays. In the second quarter, Tabor found the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead into the half. The Zebras never let up and continued to attack the circle, as Molly Nye, Olivia Vlacich, and Siena Berardinelli all had opportunities, including forcing a Tabor defensive save. The hosts found the back of the net again in the fourth quarter off a scrum for a 2-0 lead. The MX defensive line came up with several impressive stops throughout the game and junior goalie Regan Fitzgerald had 12 saves in net. Middlesex returns to action on Saturday, October 1 for an under the lights game at Milton at 7:00p.
