Middlesex Varsity Field Hockey traveled to Milton High School Saturday evening in the team's first under the lights game against ISL rival Milton Academy. The vibe was electric with both sides feeling the energy from the fans. The Zebras took a 1-0 lead off a standout goal from junior Molly Nye at the top of the circle. Milton did not waver, forcing several stellar defensive stops by the Zebras, including a penalty stroke save by MX goalie Regan Fitzgerald. In the second half, Milton tied the game but a shot by senior captain Emma Poplyk was redirected by Nye to retake the lead in the fourth quarter. Both teams battled hard as time ran down with the Zebras earning the 2-1 victory.
