Girls' Varsity Hockey fell short against a very strong Nobles team in their first game of 2022. Despite giving up a goal just seconds into the game, the Zebras fought back to tie the game at 1 when senior captain Alana Burm '22 buried a netfront rebound on a shot from Siena Berardinelli '24. Nobles would go on to take a 2-1 lead going into the second period. Nobles capitalized on numerous defensive breakdowns in the second period, scoring five goals to take control of the game. Caroline Cervini '23 also found the back of the net in the second period. The Zebras brought back the intensity for the third period and put up a gritty effort to deny Nobles any other scoring opportunities. The team will face Governors' Academy on Saturday 1/15.
