It was the first time any of the Middlesex players competed in a tournament game as Zebras. However, they used their nervous energy in a positive way as they dominated the Berkshire Bears from the first quarter. The Zebras scored early on in the first and again in the second. Knowing that Berkshire would make necessary adjustments in the second half, the Zebras regrouped at half time and committed to playing their game with sharp passes and hard steps to the ball. The final goal came in the fourth quarter with a Nye-to-Nye connection on an offensive corner. The team is excited to host No. 4 Thayer on Saturday in the NEPSAC Class B Semifinals.
