On a cold, rainy day the Middlesex Zebras traveled to nearby Rivers. Senior Abby Pratt found the back of the net 3 minute into the game but Rivers responded quickly with a goal of their own. The half saw much back and forth play and it was hard for the Zebras to ever find a consistent first touch or effective communication. The second half continued to be back and forth but Rivers capitalized on two of the Zebras' defensive breakdowns. However, never backing down from the fight, Molly Nye scored with 3 minutes remaining, sending the game into overtime. Unfortunately, Rivers scored with 4 minutes remaining off of a penalty corner. The Zebras look to regroup as they prepare for an athletic Thayer team on Saturday.
