In the annual "Play for Pink" game, the Middlesex Zebras faced off against a powerful Andover squad. The game was back and forth the entire match with both teams trading the momentum at various times. The Zebras found the back of the net in the first half but in the 3rd quarter, Andover regrouped and put one in, tying the game at one. The regulation ended 1-1 and the teams went into overtime. Both teams had a handful of scoring opportunities but the goalies came up with huge stops. A huge shoutout to both Middlesex goalies, Regan Fitzgerald and Dani Lawton who both had big saves and decisive clears. It was a fun, well-fought game by two talented teams. The Zebras must bounce back quickly, as they play another top Class-A opponent, Nobles, on Saturday.
