On a hot October day, the Zebras traveled to ISL powerhouse, Governor's. It was a battle from the first whistle with both teams stepping hard to the ball and using effective 3D skills. Governor's finally found the back of the net with two minutes left in the 3rd quarter but the Zebras didn't back down. In fact, they became hungrier and senior, Ava Romano scored with little time remaining the 3rd quarter. With the game tied after 60 minutes, the teams went into overtime. The Zebras dominated overtime creating many close chances but it wasn't until the last minute that they found the back of the cage. It was a fun, hard fought battle by two athletic squads. Now onto Groton on Friday!
