Middlesex Girls' Varsity Hockey hosted Holderness Saturday afternoon for a non-league matchup after celebrating the team's six seniors. MX took an early 1-0 lead in the first period as sophomore Ava Romano drilled a shot top corner. Despite many opportunties for the Zebras, the score remained 1-0 after the first. In the second, the Zebras doubled the lead when junior Izzy Allieri buried a pass in the slot from freshman Caroline Cervini and Romano. The visitors kept the game in check as they found the back of the net in the second as well but a scoreless third period gave Middlesex the victory. Congratulations to all six of our seniors: Daisy Boynton, Kiley Briand, Lola Davis, Riley Galizio, Ali Joseph, and Nicollette Roark!
