It was a beautiful day Saturday on the river. The sun desperately tried to come out all day and made a brief appearance after the final race. The conditions were perfect on the course-flat water and no wind. BBN and Newton Country Day made the trek to the Concord River, and we had a great day of racing. The fourth boat won their race. The third boat battled with BBN down the course, and ultimately came in second. In the second boat race, BBN took an early lead and opened water, while NCDS bested Middlesex in the final 500. The first boat race was a real treat with three boats across the entire way. All three crew had just 3 seconds between them. Middlesex finished third, but it was a great race by all!
Next week, we are away at Deerfield against Deerfield and Nobles!Â
