The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis team won its match 10 - 5 against The Governor's Academy Wednesday afternoon. The match was played at home with temperatures in the 60s and lots of sunshine overhead.

Freshman Neha Kommineni led the Zebras singles lineup at #1. Both sets were captured by Marissa Fadely ' 22, Maud McCole '19, Averill Emery '20, and Jessie Andrews '21. The overall match was secured before heading into doubles, where Middlesex won two out of three matches. At #1 doubles, Kommineni and Fadely played a confident set, outhitting their opponents. And Emery and Andrews proved to be a dynamic match at #2 working together to clinch the final point for the Zebras 8 - 3. 

The squad will put in our final two practices of the season before facing traditional rival St. George's School this Saturday in Middletown, RI. Come on out and watch what we expect to be a great match!
