Middlesex traveled to play a talented Roxbury Latin ("RL") team on May 8.  RL has some excellent players, especially on defense, and were coming off of a big win over Brooks. RL opened the scoring in the 1st quarter, but Middlesex then got 1 back, and ended the 1st tied at 1-1. The Zebras scored 3 more in the 2nd quarter, and the 1st half ended with Middlesex leading 4-1.  In the 3rd quarter, RL scored to narrow our lead to 4-2, but Middlesex countered with 1 and ended the 3rd up 5-2. The game opened up in the 4th quarter with the 2 teams combining to score 9 goals and finished with Middlesex winning 10-6. Individually, the standout players for Middlesex were Mike Allieri (16 saves), Liam Tasker (3g, 3a), Zack Goorno (2g, 1a), Cole Nye (3g, 1a), and Casey Gillis (2g). We are looking forward to hosting BB&N on Alumni Weekend on Saturday, May 11.
