Middlesex hosted a talented Tabor team for our ISL home opener on Wednesday, April 10. The Zebras started strong and finished the 1st quarter up 3-0. In the 2nd quarter Middlesex added another goal but Tabor scored 2 goals in succession and the 1st half ended with Middlesex leading 4-3. In the 3rd quarter, the teams went back and forth trading goals, and ended the 3rd 6-4. In the 4th quarter, Tabor cut the lead to 6-5 with less than 9 minutes to play, and seemed to have gained some momentum, but Middlesex scored the final 4 goals of the game to win 10-5. Individually, the standout players for Middlesex were Harry Friedman (won 68% of the faceoffs), goalie Mike Allieri (14 saves), and Zack Goorno (2g, 4a).
