The last game of the year was an exciting match up against rival St. George's. We were able to celebrate our three seniors, Caroline Bedrosian, Angelina DeVellis, and Lily Jarrett and their contributions and dedication to our program throughout their careers at Middlesex. Each of these players has been vital to our success as a program both on and off the ice and we feel that not only have they made us better during their time at Middlesex, but they have also prepared us to be even better after they have graduated. The energy and intensity was high right from the drop of the puck, and Middlesex scored first when Lily Jarrett fired a wrist shot from the point that went five-hole on the St. George's goalie. Play continued to be intense throughout the rest of the first period. St. George's battled back in the second period and notched two goals to take the lead in the game. During the third period, Middlesex continued to give everything they had at St. George's but were not able to slip one more past the goalie. Nevertheless, it was an exciting game for the fans, and the team played their hearts out.
