Middlesex faced off against a formidable BBN team this past Wednesday at home. BBN got on the board early in the game with four goals but Middlesex answered back when Alana Burm drove hard from the side boards to the slot and fired a shot into the top corner of the net. During the third period, Middlesex cut the lead again when Ellie Barton darted around the BBN defenseman, walked in on the goalie and roofed a shot into the top right corner of the net. During the third period, Middlesex battled hard and pummeled BBN's goalie with shots but were not able to net any more goals before the final buzzer. Middlesex will face off against school rival St. George's on Saturday.
