In their game this past Saturday, the Middlesex Girls' Varsity Hockey team rallied after being down to come back and tie a strong Milton team. Milton started out with an early lead of two goals, but Middlesex fired back when Ali Joseph snuck the puck into the net on the back door, assisted by Kiley Briand and Riley Galizio. Milton scored again before the end of the period and secured a two-goal lead. At the start of the second period, Middlesex turned on the pressure in Milton's end and netted another goal when Briand slid the puck past the goal on passes from Joseph and Jarrett. Milton responded with another goal, but Middlesex quickly regained their momentum when Briand scored again on another assist from Joseph. During the third period, Middlesex tied the game on a hat trick goal by Briand assisted by Joseph and Izzy Allieri. Briand and Joseph both earned 4 points in the exciting game. Middlesex will be back in action on Wednesday against Lawrence Academy at home.
