Middlesex Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey host Proctor Academy Wednesday evening in a non-conference matchup. The Zebras struck first as junior Isabelle Allieri scored unassisted just 34 seconds into the game. Proctor stepped up their pace and held the Zebras scoreless for the remainder of the period. In the second, freshman Sage Piekarski scored her first career goal, assisted by freshman Caroline Cervini to put the Zebras up two. Middlesex stepped it up in third, scoring three goals by senior Lola Davis, assisted by sophomore Alan Burm and sophomore Ava Romano, Romano, and senior Ali Joseph, assisted by senior Kiley Briand. Senior goalkeeper Daisy Boynton was stellar in net, making 20 saves to secure the shutout.
The Zebras host the Rivers School on Friday, December 13th at 5:30 PM in their ISL opener.
