It was a tough day for the Middlesex Zebras as they traveled to ISL opponent Governor's Academy on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon. While the girls came out with energy, strong communication and solid steps to the ball, they could only maintain that momentum for the first 10 minutes, when Govs began to find their groove. After earning a flurry of corners, Govs put their first goal in the back of the cage and earned another off of a defensive breakdown a few minutes later. Unfortunately, the Zebras couldn't bounce back, and played in a similar hesitant manner in the second half. The game ended 4-0 in favor of Govs.
