The Middlesex Varsity team earned a decisive win against Newton Country Day on Saturday. Middlesex took the lead early when Holly Levasseur scored her first career goal and soon followed that with another goal towards the end of the period assisted by Brooke Nye. During the second period, Middlesex continued their scoring streak when Kiley Briand notched two unassisted goals and Ali Joseph added another before the end of the period having been assisted by Lily Jarrett. In the third period, Briand scored a third goal, securing her first hat trick of the season, assisted by Alana Burm and Joseph. Ellie Barton rounded out the scoring with her first career goal assisted by Levasseur. Caroline Bedrosian earned a shutout in the game and turned away all shots by NCD. The Middlesex varsity team will be back in action on Wednesday against Portsmouth Abbey.
