The Middlesex Field Hockey team traveled back to New Hampshire on Thursday for an out-of-league match against Exeter. The Zebras were unable to shake off their bus-legs and gave up two quick goals within the first 6 minutes. However, after a timeout, the Zebras came back firing on all cylinders and created many scoring opportunities. The first significant scoring opportunity was on a corner when an Exeter defender stopped a Middlesex shot on the goal line. However, Middlesex continued to pour on the offensive pressure and scored their only goal of the game on a beautiful rush up the field with three minutes left in the first half. Middlesex continued with the momentum in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net. The Zebras are excited for their home opener against St. Mark's on Saturday.
