On Saturday May 12, the Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team hosted the Knights of BB&N. Despite the cool, rainy conditions there was a great turnout given it was Alumni Weekend at Middlesex. This year's Middlesex team has started games well and Saturday was no different. The Zebras jumped to a 5-0 lead after the 1st quarter and 10-0 at the half. Cole Nye (2G,1A), Burnham Lewis (2G), Nick Buonanno (3G, 3A), Stew Hickey (2G, 2A), Jack Lousararian (1G) and Tyler Hughey (1G) all scored in in the first half, while Anders Newberg (2G), Will McCarthy (2G), Liam Tasker (2A) and Walker Cook (1G) stepped up in the second to keep the lead on a BBN team that never quit. The exceptional play of both face-off specialist Harry Friedman (FO 85%) and goalie Ben Friedman (11 saves) keep the momentum with the Middlesex throughout the game resulting in a final score of Middlesex 16 and BB&N 6. MX now heads into the final two weeks of the season and hosts a tough Brooks team on Wednesday.
