The Zebras faced off against Thayer on a bright sunny spring afternoon at Herter Field. The boys got off to a quick start with four goals in the first quarter, and never looked back. The defense, anchored by seniors Owen Henderson, Buford Reid, Kam Landry, LSM Cam Parker, and goalie Michael Allieri '20, kept a clean sheet through the first half, which saw Middlesex increase its lead to 6-0. Harry Friedman '20 won the opening face-off and assisted on a goal 6 seconds into the second half, and the Zebras were able to maintain control throughout the remaining minutes. On the day, a total of 7 players found their way into the scorebook in another well-balanced offensive display, as Middlesex closed with a 9-3 victory.
The team looks to continue their positive momentum as they host Lawrence Academy on Wednesday. Face-off is scheduled for 3:00PM.
