The Middlesex Boys' Varsity Lacrosse team ventured down to Tabor for the first time as part of ISL competition and competed against an athletic and balanced team. The two teams traded goals for the first 3 quarters, as neither team managed to lead by more than 2 goals. In the 4th quarter, Middlesex managed to go on a 5-0 run, which put the game out of reach. The defense was organized and disciplined, and was generally able to limit Tabor's scoring opportunities, although Tabor attackman Patrick Daly proved to be a difficult individual matchup. Middlesex was led by Buford Reid and Cam Parker on defense, and goalie Michael Allieri turned in another solid performance. Stew Hickey was able to pace the offense as he tallied 5 goals, though many were assisted and the result of unselfish and intelligent team play. The team will look to maintain momentum on Saturday against a very talented Nobles side.
