The Girls Varsity Hockey team began their season with an exciting home opening win against Kents Hill. Kents Hill got on the board early in the first period, but Middlesex answered back before the end of the period when Izzy Allieri snuck the puck past the goalie. In the second period, Middlesex took the lead when Nicollette Roark scored on a slap shot from the point. Both teams battled back and forth for the rest of the game, and Caroline Bedrosian stopped shot after shot in the second and third periods. The final score was 2-1. Middlesex faces off against Proctor at home next Wednesday.Â
