After a long week of exams, Middlesex headed to the Nobles Harrington Invitational where they faced Williston in the first round. While it took the girls awhile to get their legs under them after some time off from hockey to focus on their studies, their play improved dramatically in the third period, but only after giving up four goals in the first two periods. Middlesex held Williston scoreless in the third period but could not manage to find the back of the net themselves. Daisy Boynton had a strong game between the pipes, holding the team in the game. The team hopes to continue the strong momentum from the third period as they square off against a tough Nobles team Saturday morning. Â
