Middlesex was eager to compete against a talented and smart Rivers' team. The beginning of the game was mostly played between the 25 yard lines with neither team gaining any substantial scoring opportunities. However, with 10 minutes to play in the first half, Rivers put one in the back of the Zebra's cage. They only maintained the lead for a few minutes when Lily Jarrett tied it up, off of a beautiful corner shot! Unfortunately, sloppy play and inconsistent passing by both teams, forced the game into overtime. Both teams had many scoring chances in overtime but Rivers put one in with eleven seconds left off a beautifully executed corner play. The Zebra's should be proud of their heart and hustle, especially against a team in the top of the ISL! On to Thayer!
