The Middlesex team squared off against Governor's in another ISL match up. Right off the bat, Middlesex dominated the first period and got onto the scoreboard first when Izzy Allieri tucked the puck in the net with assists by Kiley Briand and Ali Joseph. Play continued back and forth throughout the second and third period until Governer's scored to tie the game. Middlesex answered back less than thirty second later when Allieri scored again during a scramble in front of the net on assists from Briand and Joseph. A few minutes later Governor's scored again on a fast break up the ice. For the remaining minutes of the period, both teams fought back and forth trying to get the go ahead goal. The game went into sudden death overtime, and Middlesex pressured Governor's relentlessly and peppered the goalie with shots but could not manage to get the puck past her. The overtime elapsed, and the scored ended in a tie. Middlesex will be back in action next Wednesday with a home game against St. Mark's.
