The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey team traveled to Concord, N.H. to face St. Paul's School on Wednesday afternoon. The hosts went up 1-0 in the first period but the Zebras responded with strong defense to keep the score at 1-0. The second period saw a momentum shift, as St. Paul's scored three quick goals before Middlesex was able to recover defensively. Senior captain Sage Nye and sophomore Angelina DeVellis each had quality shots on net but the St. Paul's goalkeeper was there for the saves. The Zebras came out in the third with a renewed sense of focus and fought for ever puck for 16 minutes. St. Paul's tallied once more but Middlesex never gave up. Zebras goalkeeper Caroline Silk '18 posted 79 saves.
