Refusing to let up, Middlesex scored the go-ahead goal 40 seconds later when Kiley Briand passed the puck up to the point where Riley Galizio released a quick wrist shot that redirected by Ali Joseph into the back of the Brewster net. In the final minute of the game, Middlesex had to kill off a penalty and Brewster pulled their goalie in an attempt to tie the game while on a 6v4.
