The Zebras took the first minutes of the game to "warm up," but once the team found their rhythm, they executed crisp passing sequences around the St. George's opponents.  Playing as a team from start to finish, Middlesex demonstrated the tremendous growth and teamwork developed throughout the fall.  Alex Fehnel played spectacularly at both ends of the field, scoring the first goal off a corner from captains Siobhan Morrissey and Stella Noels and earning a defensive save in the last three minutes of play (her fifth of the season).  Senior Caroline Silk scored off a feed from fellow senior, Sophie MacKeigan six minutes later, and the defensive unit of Morrissey, Fehnel, Angelina DeVellis, Dahlia Galante, and Isabella Constantino combined to keep the dragons scoreless in the first half.  During the second half, the sharp passing game continued with the help of Ris Hurley and Lily Jarrett in the midfield, and Maddie Murphy stepped on to the forward line, earning good touches in both halves.  MacKeigan notched the third goal, her third in three games, off a smart pass by Cristina Bevacqua.  Overall, it was a tremendous team effort today led by a terrific senior class!
